Thank you to everyone who exhibited at our John S. Knight 2017 Akron Show this January.   As an exhibitor, you know that having stellar booth staff and dressing up your booth is a sure-fire way to draw attendees into your space and make a lasting impression. It’s safe to say that the show was a success, and we were impressed by all the amazing exhibitor displays this year! The following exhibitors proved just that.  Congratulations to all of our Best Booth Design Award Winners!

Acme Fresh Market – Best Overall Theme

With a consistent, on-trend theme from cakes, to flowers, to catering, Acme Fresh Market’s talented team of designers created a reception space that drew attendees in and made them imagine their bridal showers, engagement parties, and reception events. Meeting the designers and chefs (while sampling savory food) made couples feel like rock stars.

Peter Allen Inn When you walked into Peter Allen Inn’s booth, you walked into Peter Allen Inn itself. With charming and elegant decor that reflected what you would expect from a wedding set at their venue, couples could envision their wedding weekend being hosted by Peter Allen Inn.

The Dress Bridal Boutique

The Dress Bridal Boutique brought in dresses that were not only on trend, but also appealed to several brides’ tastes. With a silhouette for everyone, plus an open and airy space, unique backdrop, rug, professional sign, and lucite chairs, it encouraged attendees to want to know more.

Two Sisters Sidecar

Two Sisters Sidecar brought a new definition to the idea of a “booth” by wheeling in a trailer with an inviting interior chock full of unique detail.  Every engaged couple that stopped could imagine having this mobile bar open for business at their reception.

Sitting Pretty Linens – Best Demo Booth

Sitting Pretty Linens brought their showroom to the show!  By having a blank slate in the middle of their booth, Sitting Pretty Linens demonstrated for each bride her individualized vision by creating a themed tablescape with table linens, overlays, napkins, and chair covers. An impression not to be forgotten by all that stepped by.

CAKE GALLERY WINNER

Reeves Cake Shop was the talk of the show with this dual cake design rotating on a motorized spinning table.  Demur and classic on one side, your inner child on the other.  The best overheard comment of the day from an attendee?  “I can’t believe you mixed DC and Marvel comics!”

RECEPTION TABLE WINNER

Gervasi Vineyard brought the vineyard to the show! From the amazing floralscapes, candles,  wine bottle favors, to the vintage loveseat for the happy couple, this perfect tablescape lured guests to want to wine & dine on the spot.
