As an exhibitor, you know that having stellar booth staff and dressing up your booth is a sure-fire way to draw attendees into your space. The following exhibitors proved that at the most recent Cleveland show.
Here are our picks for the top booth designs!
01.17.15 & 01.18.15 I-X CENTER SHOW, CLEVELAND
Anyone who walked by the Karen Menyhart Photography couldn’t help but fall in love, love, love at first sight.
The gorgeous marquee letters and heart symbol were, no doubt, an attention-grabber. But our senses were completely overwhelmed — in the best way possible — once we took in the stunning organization of Karen’s portfolio coupled with the rustic feel of the blue backdrop. Once you take all that into account, it’s not too difficult to see why Karen Menyhart is the winner of our Best Booth award!
One Red Door Photography is no stranger to winning a Today’s Bride Best Booth award — in fact, they took one home at last year’s I-X show.
However, the difference this year is that the photography company upgraded to a double booth, which, astonishingly enough, enabled them to create an even more inviting space. Complete with stand lights, a comfy sofa and gorgeous photos galore, this booth space just could not have been any cuter.
Congratulations to One Red Door for taking home our Best Expansion award.
One thing we’ve learned about first-time show exhibitors is that they are more-than-capable of putting together a booth that looks like it came from a bridal show veteran. Milk Glass Cakes was no exception to that rule.
Chalk full of stunning cakes, their booth was the definition of inviting. (And trust us, we saw many-a-bride get sucked into their booth!) Once — or if — attendees were able to get past the gorgeousness that was their cakes, they might have then been pleased to take in the rustic decor pieces, cafe lights and even a drawing for a $500 gift card toward their wedding cake purchase. This is what we call bridal show booth success, and this is what earns you the Best Newcomer award!
Feminine elegance takes form in the pure beauty that was the Personal Touch by Covesa booth.
This decadent space was a bridal dream — filled with lovely sheer curtains, modern white furniture and, our personal favorite, touches of pink. It’s no surprise that this radiant booth simply could not be ignored.
But beyond that, we just have to mention that Covesa did one heck of a job promoting her presence in the show on all forms of social media. One way she did so was to invite brides to stop by her booth for a free chapstick — once they did, brides who correctly guessed the flavor were then entered into a contest to win 100 free chair covers for their wedding. You’re a clever one, Covesa! For that, you have earned yourself the Best Pre-Show Promotion award.
We just love it when a repeat exhibitor takes the show floor by surprise and goes above and beyond their normal booth set-up. One company that did just that this year was SB Productions.
Their minimalist space still incorporated all the necessary elements — an open area for brides to enter their booth, a stunning portfolio to show and even a cozy place to sit. We also loved their homey back wall setup … this year, we could not be more proud to give the Most Improved award to SB Productions.
There are so many great booths — we truly do wish we could recognize them all! That would make for 200+ pictures and a couple of pages of words … and well, you get the point. But before we wrap this up, we wanted to point out two more exhibitors who just had to be included as Honorable Mentions on our list.
The first being this unexpected earthy number from Doubletree Cleveland East Beachwood … [Get it? Earthy because of the cute little globe and well … ;)]
And finally, this classy, streamlined design from Holiday Inn Strongsville — we just could not get over the elegant linens, matching uplighting and crafty little tissue pom-poms in the back.
